metadata.atena.dc.description: O objetivo primordial do trabalho é uma revisão, lato sensu, de idéias comuns tanto à teoria da decisão, como à inteligência artificial, relevantes no contexto da teoria contábil em geral. Da enorme literatura sobre o assunto, adaptam-se três estórias que servem de fio condutor para o estudo dos tópicos de convicção, da revisão de convicção, da racionalidade, do conhecimento mútuo e do paradoxo. Para cada um deles faz-se um resumo e apontam-se possíveis linhas de pesquisa. A abordagem é iconoclasta, sendo nosso objetivo utilizar o trabalho como instrumento para futuras discussões.
