In this work we study the performance and the comprehension importance level of Mathematics from accounting students on graduation programs. The target is identifying the problems source related to Mathematics in Brazil. A Matemática, como ciência dos números, é uma importante teoria para o desenvolvimento em vários campos. Neste trabalho procuramos estudar o desempenho e o grau de compreensão da importância da Matemática que os graduandos em Ciências Contábeis relatam. O objetivo é identificar a fonte dos problemas relacionados com a Matemática no Brasil. Esta análise é baseada num levantamento de dados cujos resultados foram obtidos após a aplicação de uma série de questões que foram respondidas pelos entrevistados.
